2023 ends with a bang for Beardsley Theobalds

Beardsley Theobalds, the specialist business transfer agents operating throughout the South West and the Midlands, ended 2023 by agreeing 4 sales (2 manufacturing businesses, a commercial cleaning services company and a plumbing & heating contractor) during the week before Christmas – a record for the agency at that time of the year! 

Given the usual low level of activity generally experienced (for fairly obvious reasons) during the week prior to Christmas, this particular achievement very definitely reflects just how busy the agency has been in recent months and how active the market currently is in the business sectors in which it specialises – industrial, commercial and business services – but not, it is understood, to be something which is universally occurring across the market as a whole. (In fact quite a number of sectors are experiencing very slow movement on the business transfers front). Consequently, with several other sales nearing agreement as we start the new year, and although the market remains challenging (and more so than 12 months ago), Beardsley Theobalds are confidently anticipating a very active and successful 2024.
